2014 Scholarship Recipients

One of the organizations goals is to continue encouraging future generations to enter the horticulture field and to promote higher education within the families that work in the local nursery business.

2015 SCHOLARSHIP Requirements

2015 CCGGA SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES:

Who can apply?

High School Seniors and currently enrolled college students who are children of CCGGA Nursery Members, or High School Seniors and currently enrolled college students who are pursuing an education in Horticulture or Agriculture related fields. Graduate students are not applicable.

 

What do I need to submit?

  1. APPLICATION 2015 CCGGA Scholarship Application
  2. TRANSCRIPT COPY COVERING YOUR MOST RECENT YEAR OF EDUCATION (Unofficial transcripts are acceptable but there must be a school reference or website link in footer.)
  3. TWO OR MORE LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION  (From school faculty or member/teacher and/or another adult in the community)
  4. NO MORE THAN 250 WORD PERSONAL STORY ESSAY EXPRESSING YOUR EDUCATIONAL GOALS, FUTURE PLANS, AND INTERESTS. (Format requirements – 12pt basic font, double spaced)

 

What is the personal story essay?

We want to you know about you and why you deserve this scholarship. In 250 words or less, please describe what your financial need is, involvement in community, extra-curricular activities, leadership roles, work experience, what you plan to major in and what your future goals and plans are. 

All above documents must be submitted together at one time.  Incomplete application will not be accepted.
