According to the latest report from the USDA National Agriculture Statistics Service, California’s floriculture crop is leading the nation.
One of the organizations goals is to continue encouraging future generations to enter the horticulture field and to promote higher education within the families that work in the local nursery business.
2014 CCGGA scholarship recipients are:
High School Seniors and currently enrolled college students who are children of CCGGA Nursery Members, or High School Seniors and currently enrolled college students who are pursuing an education in Horticulture or Agriculture related fields. Graduate students are not applicable.

What is the personal story essay?
We want to you know about you and why you deserve this scholarship. In 250 words or less, please describe what your financial need is, involvement in community, extra-curricular activities, leadership roles, work experience, what you plan to major in and what your future goals and plans are.
DEADLINE: March 31, 2015 at midnight.

TIP: To ensure your forms are submitted the way you intend them to look; we suggest sending your documents in PDF form as they will be forwarded to the CCGGA Scholarship Committee.

Please remember to bring your ORANGE VESTS & ORANGE GARBAGE BAGS. If you need additional supplies contact the CCGGA Office at 800-961-8901/info@ccgga.com and we will provide them for you. It is up the individual nursery to set a time & date for completion within their assigned month.
